A commission dress I made last year. The initial sketch of the design and the outcome
It was quite a challenge because I've never done (proper) historical stuff and I had to make the pattern and adapt it to make it easy to put on and wear. The client intended it to be an OTT classic lolita dress, so I\'m still working on a matching bonnet and accessories.
I call this this one "Blood, sweat and mental breakdown dress"
ps. sorry for the weird photos/lack of setting/petticoat/etc - most of these were made after me working on the dress for two days straight and just before I ran to the post office to ship it out. pps. sorry for the watermarks, I worked too hard on this to get it ripped off, not taking any changes.
Oh wow. You would only give yourself fifty percent? Thats very generous. Would commissions happen to be open? (Although I would insist that you leave yourself at least $200 dollars for yourself. The craftmanship is amazing!!)
