I'm still not dead. Actually I kind of promised myself to be more active here. I've been neglecting my account for the past half a year, but I'm back and hopefully here to stay.
I've been sewing like a madwoman during all this time, trying to squeeze some other projects between my job, commissions and new ideas, that keep popping into my head.
This was one such project. I realized that my loli wardrobe lacked a proper jsk, so I figured I'd make one for myself for a change. I was a couple of day project, I rushed it to make sure I get to wear it for my birthday and later for the international lolita day. I still have to find the perfect (and cheap, 'cause I'm a cheap-ass, when it comes to my own clothing) lace to add at the bottom. There's lots of the cheap lace, but it's not wide enough for what I have in mind. I think I'll just end up using a cur up lace curtains or something, as I usually do
Anyway, I hope you like it
the pattern is very simple Burda pattern I used. The fabric is heavy weight tapestry fabric (hence the title).
